The Woodside estate, including the distinctive wavy-roofed (or ‘upside
down’) houses, is to be demolished this autumn, following a Sheffield
City Council cabinet decision on 18 September...

Woodside update
The Council have decided
to clear the entire estate. A ‘green space’ will be created,
and left for up to five years. Long-term plans having not been decided...

make the plans, have them agreed by the community and implemented by the
end of March 2004...
