Small Grants Fund 2002-2003 Round 2

LOCAL GRANTS FOR LOCAL GROUPS

There is £50,000 available for groups/organisations within the Burngreave New Deal for Communities area giving another opportunity for groups to apply for Small Grants Funds. The Round 2 Small Grants Fund is expected to be heavily over-subscribed and therefore very competitive.

Preference will be given to groups:

  • Within the BNDfC area
  • Who have had little or no previous funding
  • Who have not received previous funding from this Small Grants Fund

BNDfC Small Grants Fund aims to make small grants available to improve the effectiveness of groups/organisations through:

  • Project development
  • Pilot initiatives
  • Small scale projects
  • Feasibility studies
  • Training

HOW MUCH IS AVAILABLE
Established organisations/groups can apply for up to £5,000 (established groups are groups that have been running for more than 2 years).

New groups/organisations can apply for up to £1,000 (new groups are groups that have been running for less than 2 years).

Groups that have received previous BNDfC Small Grants Funds can only apply for up to £5,000 (Established groups) or up to £1,000 (New Groups) in any one financial year.

THE CLOSING DATE FOR ALL APPLICATIONS IS FRIDAY 11th OCTOBER 2002
