SureStart end of year party

Burngreave & Fir Vale Sure Start had their "end of the year party" at the Verdon Street Recreation centre on the 18th of December 2003.

Sure Start staff dressed up as different characters from children's stories, which was part of the entertainment for the day. The party kicked off with a children's entertainer, music, face painting and other play activities. The Sure Start mini bus collected parents from Fir Vale area to the party.

A variety of International food was served. The party continued with more entertainment and organised games for children such as musical statue and pass the parcel. Over 40 children attended the party and up to 30 parents/guardians. The fun continued till the afternoon and presents were given to all the children at the end of the party.
