This is a really important time for New Deal - lots of major things which have been developed and planned over the last two years are now beginning to make a real difference to our local community.

On these pages, you'll see we've appointed both the Anti-Social Behaviour Team and the Community Wardens - part of two key projects aimed at making Burngreave a safer, cleaner and better place to live. We've also recently opened our new information shop on Spital Hill - which you can read about elsewhere in the Messenger - which provides an important new place for people to get together, have their say on New Deal and find out more about ideas and plans for the future.

Talking of plans for the future - our Year Four Delivery Plan is currently being prepared for Government approval and we want to make sure it includes as much input from local people as possible. Every household in the New Deal area should soon be receiving a summary of the ideas already proposed in the Delivery Plan and a feedback form for you to complete with your views. Please take the time to let us know what you think - we really want to hear from you.

If you haven't received a copy of the summary by the end of the first week in February, please call in at the information shop to collect one or give us a ring on 0114 279 6932 and we'll put a copy in the post. It's your chance to have your say.
