Page Hall Launderette is run by Monica, Julie, Sandy and another lady called Mandy. It was Julie in on the day I arrived, but she wasn’t prepared to have her photo taken.

“I haven’t had the chance to get my hair done yet. Anyway, I didn’t know you was coming,” she informed me, surrounded by and starring Frigidaire washers, large tumble dryers, and spinners.

The launderette boasts cheap prices, dry cleaning and service washes. This laundrette serves the Fir Vale, Page Hall and Firth Park community and is situated at 25 Page Hall Road.

Omar Gulzar opened his shop two years ago to serve the need of the Page Hall, Fir Vale and Firth Park community. “We do all car accessorises and spares,” explains Omar.
