Regenerating Woodside

Would you like to have a say in the future of the Woodside?

At our meeting on the 2nd October the Council’s Housing service came along to talk about the work they are doing to regenerate this area. Demolition of the Council owned flats and maisonettes is now well underway and should be finished by April.

They are now seeking people to work with them on drawing up plans for the landscaping of the site. If you would like to get involved contact Amanda James on 273 5498.

Don’t forget, we are still looking for your nominations for the Burngreave New Year’s Honours. Please see the October issue of the Messenger (Celebrating the people of Burngreave) for more information or contact the Burngreave Area Action Office on 276 9134 for a nomination pack.
