Celebrating the people of Burngreave

Do you know someone who has made a real difference to the lives of people in Burngreave?

The Area Panel is keen to acknowledge and celebrate the work people in this area are doing to improve the lives of those around them. As part of this the Panel will be awarding Honours to people and groups who have made an outstanding contribution to their local community.

We would like to hear who you think the awards should go to. There are three categories of award you can nominate people for:

1. A local resident living in the area who has made an outstanding contribution to improving the lives of local people.
2. Someone who works in the area who has made an exceptional difference to the lives of local people above and beyond the call of their job.
3. A local community group or organisation that has made a major contribution to improving the lives of local people or the quality of the local environment.

If there is a person or group you would like to put forward then please contact the Burngreave Area Action Office on 276 9134 for a nomination form. We will be presenting the awards at a special celebratory event on Thursday 11th December at 6.30pm in the Town Hall.
