On Saturday 6th September, the Freedom Express Luxury coach took forty women from the Burngreave area to London.

The aim of the trip was to enable local women to have a break, and spend some time away from their children and everyday lifestyle within Burngreave.

The women were dropped off in Southall and soon dispersed throughout different areas of London. Some went to Brixton, Waterloo, Westminster and Piccadilly. Some did a little sightseeing, some went for a meal and to sample the fresh local delicacies, all shopped until they dropped (literally). They all had their own stories to tell on the return journey home.

According to evaluation received, the daytrip was another great success and was seriously enjoyed.
