3Dom Festival on Devonshire Green
by Rob Smith

On Sunday 24th August all roads led to Devonshire Green and Burngreavers arrived en mass. Bouncy castles and Bronco Billy occupied thousands of young children while skateboarding and break-dancing displays, led to competitions that catered for the teenage element.

Information tents, live graffiti artist, ice cream, food sellers and stalls appeased the hungry while others looked on with keen interest at the graffiti artistry and activity on the main stage. Live artists, dancers and a major freestyle rapping competition mellowed out the swelling crowd.

Through out the whole day that crowd saw an array of Sheffield’s own local talent performing, and amongst that talent were singers from Burngreave Urban Music Project (BUMP). Topping the bill: ex-So Solid Crew member and now solo artist Lisa Mafia.

Organisers, the Non Stop Foundation, wish to thank all those who attended and those who took part, helped organise and made things happen.
