Burngreave New Deal for Communities is entering an exciting phase in its development.

As we begin year 3 of our 10 year vision to regenerate Burngreave we are looking for key individuals to help transform the area. If you are passionate about people, enjoy a challenge and can operate effectively in a diverse and complex political environment we want to see you.

This key position has responsibility for the Education Theme. Working with local people and agencies from all sectors to promote inclusion you will need to demonstrate:

• A sound understanding of the education agenda and experience of working with education providers from the public and voluntary sectors
• Knowledge and understanding of community development in a diverse and multicultural areas
• The ability to develop effective relationships with local residents, public, private and voluntary sector organisations
• Project development and management skills in a regeneration contexts
• The ability to deliver objectives and outcomes within an agreed timescales
• An understanding of other regeneration initiatives and funding streams
