NDC Health Theme

The February Health Theme group meeting saw angry protests from community members who hadn't been informed of previous meetings and objections to projects being passed without any community endorsement.

John Clark, New Deal Chief Executive said he freely admitted that community involvement had been inadequate in the past and apologised for administrative errors.

As plans are published for Year 3 of the New Deal (see the
New Deal for Burngreave pages), John said planning for Year 4 would start much earlier and that ideas and community endorsement would be sought in a much wider range of ways in the future.
