of the year
Local
resident and Youth Worker Islam Khan was presented with a
plaque by the Lord Mayor Cllr Barker during her visit to the
Fir Vale Youth Centre.
The award
was in recognition of the hard work and commitment that Islam
has shown in his work in the last year. He had on many occasions
devoted his personal time to work in the area, this has included
working Sunday mornings on the centre’s Mural
Project. |
