Giving you the chance to play
your part
The launch of a unique scheme is set
to provide Burngreave residents with funding so they can play
a part in enhancing the area we live in.
The £1.1m BNDfC Grant Fund, being delivered
by BCAT, is a chance for local people to apply for funding
from £500 to £25,000 so they can make a positive
impact on our community.
So now’s the time to get creative and
start thinking of ideas that you think your community will
benefit from. This could be setting up community groups, organising
local events or getting mother and toddler groups going.
The Grant Fund could contribute to organising
a range of summer activities such as last years successful
trip to Skegness. Organised by BNDfC, the trip took local
people for a day-out at the seaside. Plans by BNDfC for a
similar trip in July this year are well under way. Look out
for more details in the Information Shop over the next few
weeks.
