Health Promotion Worker – Burngreave Drug Project

Salary: A & C Grade 5 £17,161 - £20,876
Fixed term 5-year contract
37 hours full time

This is an exciting opportunity to work in an innovative 5-year project. Burngreave Drug Project is collaboration between an inner city neighbourhood, New Deal for Communities, Sheffield Drug Action Team and North Sheffield Primary Care Trust. As part of a multi agency team providing drug treatment, prevention and education, you will deliver health promotion activities in and with a diverse community.

You will work with agencies, community groups and organisations to ensure people can make safer informed choices about drug use including alcohol, tobacco and Khat.

You will harness local expertise and knowledge, develop education initiatives and coordinate support work for parents affected by substance use.
