Close to the Heart

Six Burngreave women artists will be exhibiting their art work in the Manningham Gallery, Victoria, Australia, this September.

The exhibition theme is 'Close to the Heart' and before their work goes off to Australia they will be exhibiting it in Burngreave Library from 8th March to 5th April.

We’d like to invite other Burngreave Women Artists to join the exhibit celebrating International Women’s Day. Green City Action will be holding free art workshops where women can make work for the exhibition with free art materials and guidance.

Silk painting 11th February 1-3pm
Visit to Stockport Hat Museum 12th February 9.15am-5pm (including free lunch)

Feltmaking 18th February 1-3pm
Available for men and women.
