Presentation of the information gathered about Burngreave’s green spaces.

Burngreave Green Environment Programme
SPRING EVENTS.

Everyone welcome, hot drinks will be provided. Please, no dogs, and wear stout boots and waterproof clothing if possible.

Monday Feb 2nd
Hedge planting between Margate Drive and Grimesthorpe allotments 10.30am - 3pm:
Meet at the end of Margate Drive just off Grimesthorpe Road near the allotments.

Monday Feb 9th
Hedge planting between Grimesthorpe Allotments and Fir View Gardens 10.30am - 3pm:
Meet at the gate to Grimesthorpe Allotments just off Grimesthorpe Road.

Wednesday Feb 18th - Friday Feb 20th
Clearing up Somerset Road Playground 10.30am - 3pm:
Meet at the playground (from Burngreave Road go up Catherine Street, and left up Brackley Street). Trees are to be cut back, scrub and litter cleared, and willow coppiced to give clear views of the site.

Monday Feb 23rd - Tuesday Feb 24th
Tree Planting for the Family Tree Scheme 10.30am - 3pm:
Meet on Pitsmoor Open Space, just off Pitsmoor Road.

These events have been organised by Burngreave Community Forestry, Tinsley Tree Project, Green Watch, BTCV and Burngreave Rangers.
