Our Mission Statement:
The BME Women’s Strategy Group exists to network and develop a forum which empowers the voice of BME women to challenge strategic decisions.
The forum will encourage and support the involvement of BME women in decision-making for the city.

10.10 – 10.40 Guest Speaker 1 - Dorothy Smith Dorothy Smith was the first black woman to become a head teacher in Kirklees and currently is the Strategic Manager for school improvement services of Education Leeds
