N.D.C. A New Deal for Burngreave.
Issue 30, April 2003Issue 37 - December 2003.
Prepared by the New Deal executive team

BLSA wants to talk to you!

The Burngreave Language Support Agency (BLSA) is already working hard to ensure that local people have access to language services, such as translation and interpreting, as well as providing training to local people to enable them to develop their language skills.

BLSA team would like to meet individuals and groups in Burngreave who…

  • Have not heard about BLSA so far.
  • Want to know more about the BLSA team and services.
  • Have language problems and want to improve their language skills.
  • Are bilingual and interested in translation and interpreting training at Sheffield College.
  • Are qualified translators/interpreters and interested in freelance work.
  • Have translation and interpreting needs.
  • Are looking for translation, interpreting and training advice/estimates.
  • Want to involve themselves with BLSA activities and become members.
  • Have good ideas for the promotion and development of BLSA services.

At present, BLSA is based in 61 Carlisle Street East but we will be moving to BCAT, 12 Burngreave Road (in the heart of Burngreave), in January 2004. We are open Monday to Friday, 9.00am–5.00pm.

Please feel free to visit or contact us on: 272 2833 or email: info@blsa.org.uk.
