Community Forestry Project

Family Tree Walk and Seed Gathering
Sunday 12th October, 11am

Come and collect seeds in Roe Woods to help build our stock of local trees. We will also give a guided tour of the different trees in the woods. All ages welcome but children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Wear stout boots and bring waterproof clothing. No dogs allowed. A free drink of apple juice will be given to all who attend. Meet at the main entrance to Roe Woods, Norwood Road at 11am.

Celebrate National Apple Day with the Burngreave Rangers.
Apple decorating & Apple Games.

Monstrous Monsters, Nottingham Street Recreation Ground
31st October, 1.30–3.30pm
Come and make scary masks and mobiles and see if you can frighten the Rangers!

Tremendous Trees, Abbeyfield Park
7th December, 1.00–3.30pm
Celebrate National Tree Week. Join the Rangers decorating a tree in the Park and make decorations to take home.
