Have your say!
Many people will already have heard that BNDfC has bought
Sorby House on Spital Hill – with the aim that it will become
a central point for the local community.
Now New Deal wants to know what you’d like to see happening
there – and we’ve arranged a consultation day on September
27th so that local people can have their say on the future of this
major building.
The event will be from 12 noon to 4.30pm outside Sorby House and
all are welcome. There will be displays of some of the initial proposals
for the building’s future – with the chance to say which
ideas would be most popular with Burngreave residents.
Board members and BNDfC staff will be on hand all day to talk to
people about their ideas and Board Chair Rose Ardron says she hopes
as many people as possible will take the chance to have an input
into this major new development.
“Sorby House is at the heart of Burngreave and
offers the potential to become a major focus for community activity
and involvement. We really want to know how people would like it
to be developed for the future and this consultation event is a
vital way for you to tell BNDfC what you think.”
