The Burngreave Honours Awards

Do you know someone in the Burngreave or Fir Vale area who has made an outstanding contribution to their local community?

The Area Panel is keen to acknowledge the good work carried out by people in this area over the last year. To achieve this, we are welcoming nominations for the Burngreave Honours Awards 2003.

If there is a person or group you think deserves an award, please contact us. Nominations need to be in by 16th October.

Making Burngreave Accessible to Everyone

This year we are using our £10,000 highways budget to improve accessibility in the area. If you know of any sites on public roads or footpaths that need work to make them accessible please let us know.

The money can pay for hand rails and ramps or anything else that will make it easier for people to get around the area. Please let us know your suggestions by 16th October.
