Security grants scheme launched Businesses in the Spital Hill area could be eligible for grants of up to £5,000 to help them improve security at their premises, thanks to the newly launched Security and Environment Grants Scheme. The scheme has been set up to help provide security measures such as shuttering, lighting, rear fencing, CCTV and internal works. Initially, it is a pilot project for Spital Hill, but if it is successful, it may be extended throughout the Burngreave New Deal for Communities area. The scheme is one of the first projects launched by the new Business Support Team (pictured right), and anyone wanting an application pack or further information should contact Saghir Ahmed or Stacy-Ann Givans on 292 0463.
