Tool Bank reopens

The Tool Bank in Abbeyfield Park House is being reorganised to make it easy and pleasant to use for both borrowers and staff.

The bank holds a wide range of DIY, gardening and car maintenance tools as well as a collection of equipment for community group use such as clean up, gardening and fund raising or consultation events. The bank will be open on Wednesday and Thursday during the day, Wednesday evening 5–7pm and Saturday morning 10am till midday from the end of June.

New members are welcome to join the tool bank, to borrow tools you will have to:

• Become a member of Green City Action by completing a simple form
• Agree to return tools in good order and on time.

The Tool Bank operates on trust, at present no deposit is required in order to borrow tools.
