The editorial team is proud to bring you the sixteenth edition of the Messenger.

As we approach our 2nd AGM we have recieved confirmation of New Deal funding until June 2002. Having spent six months worrying about funding we are now able to worry about how to make the Messenger even better.

Over the last year we have tried to bring you issues and views from all over Burngreave. We aim to be the ‘Voice of the Burngreave community’. To do this we need YOUR help.

We need your help to write articles, take pictures and report on issues affecting all parts of the community. We want everyone to be able to contribute to making each copy exciting and interesting.

By coming to one meeting a month you could be on the Management Committee to make sure the Messenger is well run and to plan for it’s future.
