Our communities call for peace

Speaking at a “Stop the War” meeting in Darnall recently, local resident and Chair of the Yemeni Community Association Abdul Shaif said: “What type of civilization drops cluster bombs or gas from 10,000 feet when they don’t know where they are going to land? We must avoid many more people dying in this war and being brought back in body bags which would have a terrible effect on race relations in this country. I think the war should stop immediately.”
