The new shops proprietor Mr Naz Sahle explains how as a family run businesses, they foresee the need and hope to be of service to people living in and around Bressingham and nearby Sedan Street. Naz also feels that the small shop units around him have potential for business and would like to see the other empty spaces nearby developed.Kebab Take-Away Spital HillWelcome to Sheffield’s new Sholay Nan Kebab Restaurant and Takeaway. Situated on the nightly active and daily busy Spital Hill across the road from the Mangla, has sprouted the Sholay Nan Kebab Restaurant, exploding with delightful dishes from the eastern provinces. Mouth-watering Biryani dishes with rice Chicken and lamb Tikka, Chicken Tandori, Meat and Vegetable samosas. Of course not to forget Donner Kebabs with chips and everything served with a side salad. I went along to the opening of this new establishment and was duly fed after my introduction to the new proprietors Mr Talib Hussein and his partner Mr Afzal who I wish the best of good luck.Lloyds GymnasiumFitness has been his aim and building a body to win competitions a goal succeeded and surpassed. Lloyd with all his vast years of knowledge now passes that on to those who want to learn. Whether power weight lifting or just getting into physical shape Lloyds Gymnasium offers a large, heated and well equipped space for training in all physical fitness. I spoke to Lloyd about his £15 a year membership fee.“ Then £3.50 a session or £7 for as many sessions as ya’ like Rob.“ Explains Lloyd from behind a counter, displaying the latest bodybuilding supplements, drinks and chocolate sundries. I noted no wheelchair access to the premises and Lloyd explained a bit about a vision of a future to occupy another building more accessable to all the people of this community. Presently Lloyds Gymnasium is situated off Carlisle St corner HarlestonNo Monkey BusinessesRecently opened and situating itself at the top of Barnsley Road, a great asset to our community is a Pet Shop. Run by local couple Michelle and Tony Howard this shop is bound to attract a lot of interest from all members of our community. Tony explained how keenly he is into dog breeding and that he himself is the owner of a real monkey. |
