Asthmatics competition

I’ve been an asthmatic for most of my life, and like many people, always carry my inhaler with me. The problem is so many of us carry these things we can’t tell them apart. Teachers have drawers full of inhalers and have to work out which belongs to which child. So I think it’s time we gave them a face-lift. Look, I’ve turned mine into a lion. There will be a prize for the best-decorated inhaler delivered to the Messenger. Used inhalers only, non-asthmatics will know someone who can let them have one; asthma is so common in this area. Please put your entry in an envelope marked “inhaler competition” with your name, address, age and telephone number, and drop it in to Abbeyfield house in Abbeyfield Park. competition ends Dec 3rd. We will show the best ones in the next issue.
