‘Heart Locket’

More and more children are growing up in split-parent families. These are often thought of as ‘broken homes’ but my piece creates a contradiction to this view.

It shows two different environments created and the same amount of love in each environment the child is brought up in.

The flower represents the child growing into this world and the two hearts are joined in locket formation. This is to show the continuity of love and support to the child.
