Stockton International Family Centre (21.5MB, 30mins)

Sacha Bedding and Sean Ridgeway from the Stockton International Family Centre spoke of the success of projects like Stockton on line in increasing access to computers within a diverse community, and the hugely varied benefits it had brought to people’s education, work, creative and social lives.


Sheffield College (16.3MB, 22mins)

Julie Hooper and Rob Scheuber from Sheffield College talked of the recent successes of students doing ‘on-line’ GCSE English courses they’d been running.

 

 


BITPart and Community Learning Campaign (11.4MB, 16mins)

Nicholaus Hall, BITPart development worker gave an outline of current IT training provision in the area and Sheena Clarke, manager of the Burngreave Community Learning Campaign introduced this new initiative and plans for the area, including the possible creation of a learning centre in the Vestry Hall.
