No Xcuse kicked up a storm during their mid-afternoon Abbeyfield set...
The Sheffield 5 based outfit delivered 40 minutes of quality live hip hop , including their forthcoming 'boy meets girl' single - “Beautiful Thing . The group formed back in 1996 when 'man on a mission' Marcus Dailey scouted around Firth Park and Sheffield to find the best singers, MC's, writers and producers to make music with a message.

The crew, who all know each other through school, talent shows and the Firth Park MC scene were quick to emphasise the force which underpins their music, “We want our music to carry a positive message, to show that rap is about more than just violence and guns .
No Xcuse consists of Seven, Murda1, UndaKuva, Rid-1, Kastro and The Young Offenders – Jigga, Captain, Yungblack, Lyric and Sandman.
