2 Part-time Community-Based
Sports Development Officers

18.5 hours per week, up to £16,000 per annum (pro-rata)
(Fixed Term until May 2007)

To work on behalf of the Burngreave Sports Network.

Developing sports initiatives, co-ordinating sports events and a community consultation event and to capacity build the Burngreave Sports Network.

The successful applicants will:

• Have knowledge of Sports Development
• Be able to facilitate meetings
• Have good organisational skills
• Have the ability to work with a range of people from a variety of backgrounds and be sensitive to multicultural issues.

One of the posts is subject to Section 7(2)(e) of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975. This is specifically to develop Sports and Recreation initiatives for Women.
