Have Your Say on the Future of Your Area
Masterplanning Burngreave and Fir Vale

How would you like to see Burngreave and Fir Vale change over the next ten years?

Sheffield City Council and Transform South Yorkshire have commissioned consultants LDA Urban Design to look at just that and they want to hear your views. Over the coming months LDA will be preparing a master plan for this area. This will set out plans to regenerate the area by promoting modern standards of housing, vibrant shopping centres and high-quality community facilities.

Exhibitions were held in Burngreave and Fir Vale in early May to ask local people how they would like to see these areas improved. A lot of useful suggestions were made. The consultants are now working on plans to address the key problems.

The aim is to transform Burngreave and Fir Vale into attractive neighbourhoods where people want to live and work.
LDA are now asking for your views again, this time on the options they have come up with for the future of the area. Please come along to one of the events below and find out what they are suggesting and let us know what you think. There will be further opportunities for you to comment later in the summer before the plans are finalised.

Please come along to one of these events and have your say:
