DJ workshops great success

DJ Chillout, of the Chill-Foo-Front organisation, has been providing DJ Workshops during the summer months within the Burngreave area. The workshops have been funded by New Deal and have been very well received and attended.

The workshops are organised by Burngreave Problem Busters (BPB), who have helped occupy young people in positive and constructive activities, preventing them getting into unnecessary trouble with the police. BPB are planning to continue them through the dark, cold winter months. Plans to provide dance, singing, musical and radio presenting workshops in the future are scheduled as well.

The DJ workshops are free and take place at Christ Church Community Hall, Nottingham Street every Tuesday, 4–7pm.
