Coaching courses

Basketball Coaching Course Level 1, Fir Vale Sports Centre, 8–9th November, £5 deposit returned on completion of the course. For anyone over 16.

Netball Coaching Course, Fir Vale Sports Centre, free course for women over 16. Opportunity of paid work on completion of the course.

Football Coaching Course Level 1, Sheffield United Academy. Strong possibility of paid work on completion of the course.

Football Coaching Course for Women, Sunday afternoons starting 7th December at Sheffield United Academy. No football experience needed. Female tutors. Free coaching kit, a bag of footballs, cones and bibs provided.

Free Table Tennis Club

Every Wednesday from 22nd October, 4.30–6.00pm at Firvale Sports Centre.

Professional Coaching. Free to all young people aged 8–16 in the
Burngreave/Firth Park/Fir Vale/ Brightside/Shiregreen areas.

Sheffield Table Tennis Club

…would like to invite you to play table tennis at the English Institute of Sport (next to the new ice centre at Don Valley).
Every Wednesday evening from 6.00–10.00pm.

We have coaching, practice and competition for beginners and advanced players:

6.00–7.30pm C Squad & Adult Div 4 and below £2.25
7.30–9.30pm A & B Squads Adult Div 3 and above £3.00

at Fir Vale Sports Centre.

Girls only • Y6/7/8 • Sports Hall • 9.30–11am
Boys • Y6/7 • Gymnasium • 9.30–11am
Boys • Y8/9/10 • Gymnasium • 11–12.30am

First Session is free. Then £1.50 or £1 with a Slice Card.

You will need indoor trainers and sportswear.

Players will need to complete a registration form and have it signed by a parent or guardian.
