We would like to thank Lee Furness
for all his enthusiasm and hard work with GCA over the last 10 years
– for the past 7 years as manager. Lee is moving on in September
to start his own business – we wish him all the best with
his new venture.
A big thank you also to Tina Smith
who has organised the GCA Toy Library for over 3 years and recently
moved to a new company. We wish her well in her new position.
We would especially like to thank Panni Loh,
for founding the Abbeyfield Park Multicultural Festival and for
organising the first four festivals. Her new post within GCA is
managing the new Abbeyfield Stables Project.
Minders Inc will help organise The
GCA Toy Library from September for an interim period. Many thanks
to them for stepping in. Also to Garry Smith our
new fundraising and finance manager, who will be temporarily taking
over the GCA manager’s post from September 2003. Finally we’re
pleased to introduce Rob Bullock who is running
the GCA Tool Library.
We hope that every one who attended this year’s
Abbeyfield Park
Multicultural Festival enjoyed the day. We would like
to thank Jackie Field for working so hard with
Green City Action to organise this years festival. It was a great
success. We would also like to thank the rest of the GCA team and
volunteers for all their hard work.
